The UF-VC12G4K 12G-SDI to HDMI Converter is a high-performance broadcast-grade video processing device designed to bridge the gap between professional SDI video equipment and HDMI displays or capture systems. This enables engineers and technicians to feed a local SDI monitor, switcher, or downstream device simultaneously alongside the primary HDMI output. The device fully supports up to 4K DCI (4096×2160 @ 60Hz) resolutions, high-bitrate YCbCr 4:2:2 video signals up to 12-bit color depth, and robust High Dynamic Range (HDR) standards—including HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG—delivering accurate color reproduction and dynamic range. 

For optimal transmission integrity over long distance runs, the converter incorporates built-in signal re-clocking and automatic input format detection. It compliant with industry standards including SMPTE ST 2082-1, ST 2081-1, ST 424, and ST 292-1. When utilizing high-grade Belden 4505R coaxial cabling, the unit achieves reliable cable driver distances of up to 50 meters (164 ft) for 12G/6G-SDI signals and up to 100 meters (328 ft) for 3G/HD-SDI signals. 

Housed in a compact, rugged dark grey metal enclosure, the unit features a highly portable design powered via a standard USB-C 5V input, which also serves as a interface for future firmware updates.
