The UF-12GSDI-MN extender set transmits a single 12G-SDI video channel supporting 4K UHD resolutions (up to 2160p@60Hz) over optical fiber with uncompromised signal fidelity. Designed for effortless, zero-configuration plug-and-play operation, it features a built-in ST/UPC optical port supporting distances up to 10 km over single-mode fiber (SMF). Fully compliant with SMPTE ST 2082, the system is backward compatible with legacy broadcast standards, including SMPTE ST 2081, SMPTE 424M (3G-SDI), SMPTE 292M (HD-SDI), SMPTE 344M (ED-SDI), and SMPTE 259M (SD-SDI), with real-time status LEDs for power, fiber link, and SDI signals.
Engineered to meet demanding field requirements, the converter delivers uncompressed, zero-latency signal extension over a single fiber core. Featuring integrated clock recovery (reclocking), adaptive input equalization, and cable drivers, it automatically detects incoming 12G-SDI, 6G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, and DVB-ASI signals while strictly adhering to major SMPTE standards (ST 2082-1, ST 2081-1, 424M, 292M, 259M, 297M, 305M, and 310M). Its ultra-compact, highly integrated design incorporates industrial-grade components to deliver stable performance in harsh environments. Thanks to fiber optic media, it offers wide operating temperature tolerance and complete immunity to electromagnetic interference (EMI), lightning strikes, and power surges, ensuring maximum reliability.
