UF-IS6101XGP30 is a mini industrial 10G PoE+ media converter providing non-blocking wire-speed performance and great flexibility for 10 Gigabit Ethernet extension in harsh industrial environment. It is equipped with one 10/100/1G/2.5G/5G/10G 802.3at PoE+ copper port and one 10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100BASE-X SFP+ fiber optic port delivered in an IP40 rugged but compact-sized case with redundant power system. Complying with the IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) standard, the UF-IS6101XGP30 forwards 10Gbps speed Ethernet data transmission and provides a maximum of 30-watt power output over an additional 100m UTP cable to a 802.3af/at PoE PD (powered device) installed in a remote area where sufficient and reliable power input is required. Users can easily upgrade their current networks without the need of software configuration.
The 10GBASE-X SFP+ fiber-optic interfaces support multiple speeds—10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100BASE-X —allowing administrators to select the appropriate SFP/SFP+ transceiver based on distance and speed requirements. The device also supports flexible conversion between multi-mode and single-mode fiber, extending transmission distances from 300 meters to 80 kilometers using 10GBASE-SR or 10GBASE-LR modules.
The UF-IS6101XGP30 is ideal for wide applications from copper to fiber media conversion wherever 10Gigabit bandwidth is required in climatically demanding environments with wide temperature ranging from -40 to 80 degrees C. The Ethernet port supports full-duplex mode. Users can use different type of SFP+ modules (single-mode/multi-mode fiber, 1/2 core) as needed.
