The UF-IS102GPD-SP-BT series is an industrial-grade, compact Gigabit Fiber Media Converter engineered for harsh environments and flexible edge deployment. Featuring a unique 1-Port 100/1000Base-X SFP slot and 2-Port 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 Ethernet interfaces, this device provides seamless, high-speed optical-to-copper media conversion with automatic speed negotiation.
Designed with versatility in mind, the unit functions as a PoE Powered Device (PD) via its dedicated PoE IN port, drawing power directly from an upstream IEEE 802.3bt PoE switch or PoE Injector. This eliminates the need for a local AC/DC power source, drastically simplifying installation in remote or space-constrained areas.
Going beyond standard media converters, it features an integrated high-efficiency PoE Splitter, capable of delivering up to 60W (3A max) of optional DC power output through a rugged terminal block. With 12V, 19V, or 24V DC voltage options, it can simultaneously power non-PoE legacy devices—such as IP cameras, wireless access points, or industrial controllers—and transmit high-speed data over a single fiber backhaul.
Housed in a ruggedized, fanless industrial enclosure, this mini media converter delivers rock-solid reliability, making it the perfect solution for IP surveillance, smart city traffic control, and industrial automation networks.
