The UF-DF485 series DIN-Rail Industrial 8-Channel Duplex RS485 Serial Data over Fiber Converter provides a high-performance solution for extending serial communications over long distances. It supports simultaneous transmission for up to 8-channel RS-485 or 4-channel RS-422 data, featuring zero-latency automatic forwarding and hardware-based data flow control. With auto-baud rate detection up to 115.2 Kbps, it ensures seamless, transparent communication for point-to-point polling networks.


Built for mission-critical reliability, the device is equipped with 1500W surge protection and 15KV ESD protection to withstand harsh electrical environments. It operates on a flexible 6–55V DC power input and features a rugged design optimized for DIN-Rail installation, making it ideal for industrial automation, access control, and smart parking systems.


The unit offers exceptional optical versatility, supporting transmission distances up to 2km over multi-mode and 120km over single-mode fiber. It provides a scalable and robust backbone for interconnecting remote serial devices across expansive industrial sites.
