UF-IF1G-OEO Mini Industrial SFP OEO Converter is a connection between fiber to fiber equipment function as fiber media converter, or as fiber repeater for long distance transmission in harsh environment at operating temperature -40~ 80℃. UF-IF1G-OEO supports dual speed as it features 100BASE-FX and 1000BASE-SX/LX SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) fiber-optic modules.
Overcoming the 2km distance limitation of multimode fiber is easily achieved by using single-mode to multimode media converters. These devices bridge the gap between different fiber types, extending transmission distances up to 80km over single-mode fiber while functioning as standard repeaters. This series includes several specialized models: Wavelength Converters, which facilitate data transmission between various wavelengths (such as 1310nm, 1550nm, and 850nm); Mode Converters, which enable seamless communication between multimode and single-mode fibers; and Fiber Type Switches, which manage transitions between single-strand and dual-strand fiber configurations. Additionally, many of these units double as optical signal amplifiers (power boosters) and offer hybrid switching that handles both wavelength and mode transitions simultaneously.
