The Audio to Fiber Extenders supports 1-Channel Bi-Directional independent RCA audio channels of 16-bit digitally encoded broadcast quality audio over one Single-Mode optical fiber. These fiber optic transmitter and receiver devices are typically used in applications for Staging, Theaters, Stadiums, Parks, Broadcast, CCTV audio and Professional AV applications, etc., and are available for stand-alone and desktop type, or wall-mounted, installations.

Use SC UPC / PC connectors with your Single (SM) cables. Plug and Play design ensures easy installation and operation, no configuration or driver installation is required. 2 simple LED indicators, one for fiber and one for power are provided to instantly monitor the system’s status.

UTP’s RCA L/R stereo / mono audio extender transmits analog stereo audio signals up to 20 km using a single mode (SM) fiber cable strand over 1310/1550 nm.

Each set consists of two units, one on the transmitter side, and one on the receiver side, that can be connected to an RCA analog stereo audio source and RCA stereo audio speakers or receiver, or 1-Channel Bi-Directional separate mono RCA can be sent over the fiber independently.
